Piano

Education is my profession and music is my passion. I have earned a B.A. in Music Education from St. Olaf College and a Master of Arts in Music Education degree from the University of St. Thomas, both of which helped me to improve my craft.  As a music educator in the Westonka School District for over 30 years, I have had many opportunities to work with and learn from a variety of students and other professionals. Since 2005, I have been teaching private piano lessons in the Minnetonka area. I enjoy working individually with students of all ages, combining my extensive knowledge of both music and education in a friendly and welcoming lesson environment.

As a member of the National Federatoin of Music Clubs (NFMC) and the local chapter (Chain of Lakes Music Club), my students are invited to participate in yearly Federation Festivals. I also belong to the Minneapolis Music Teachers Forum (MMTF), which provides teachers a place to collaborate as well as performance opportunities for students.

Mount Calvary Academy of Music will be a wonderful place to continue my love of music!
